The Rivers in Schools!
American Musical History
Rivers guitarist Stu Frederick, a Pennsylvania certified music teacher, has created an interactive lecture program on the origins of rock'n'roll and it's roll in American history. This program is adaptable to all age levels and class sizes. It includes a Powerpoint slide show to give appropriate visual aids and prompts. The program can be presented "solo" or by the entire Rivers Rockabilly Trio.
The Rivers look forward to developing and sharing ideas with teaching staff. School or district residencies may culminate in a concert or dance event for all! On an individual class basis, the rock'n'roll program may include a simple lecture with accompanying music demonstrations and a show & tell of instruments. What is your preference?
